The large, moralistic government appears to have no policy direction whatsoever. The average income tax rate is 28%, but much higher for the wealthy. A substantial private sector is led by the Pizza Delivery, Door-to-door Insurance Sales, and Soda Sales industries.

Elections have been outlawed and billions of chisels are being poured into a space program. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is relatively low, despite the fact that it is difficult to make it through a day without breaking one of the country's many laws. Fanatical Terraformers's national animal is the sphinx, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the chisel.
