The Imagination Land of Fall of Man is a massive, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by The Grand Poo-Bah with an even hand, and notable for its punitive income tax rates. Its hard-nosed, intelligent population of 3.301 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Education, and Healthcare. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Yggdrasil Megalopolis. The average income tax rate is 94%, and even higher for the wealthy. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Scientists regularly clone human beings for research purposes, innocent defendants often plea guilty for fear of receiving a much harsher sentence before jury, tax evaders are regularly visited by agents of the Fall of Man Blood Tithe, and the government awards prizes to television shows featuring stereotype-breaking minority roles. Crime is totally unknown. Fall of Man's national animal is the Genetically-Altered Human, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Cult of the Busty Woman, and its currency is the Reichsmark.

Fall of Man is ranked 59th in Antarctic Oasis and 100,967th in the world for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring -12 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
