The Aveugle Adeptes of Extre is a colossal, cultured nation, ruled by Desiderius II with an even hand, and renowned for its irreverence towards religion. Its hard-nosed population of 5.908 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Social Welfare, Healthcare, and Defence. The average income tax rate is 57%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Trout Farming, Pizza Delivery, and Information Technology industries.

Desiderius II has just been declared ruler of Extre in an international press conference, euthanasia is illegal, the government extracts trade concessions from poor nations in exchange for humanitarian aid, and drug distribution is tightly controlled by the government. Crime is relatively low. Extre's national animal is the Mandrill, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is Shotgunning, and its currency is the BluGrenade.

Extre is ranked 1,033rd in the Rejected Realms and 77,749th in the world for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring -2 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
