A typical fast food menu item could serve a small army, government officials have to mortgage their homes to make ends meet, abortions are routinely performed in Escchelary's hospitals, and senior citizens can usually be found doing heavy manual labour. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Escchelary's national animal is the Screaming Death Eagle, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Neodeism, and its currency is the Granmark.
