It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Caridd. The average income tax rate is 71%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Book Publishing industry, followed by Arms Manufacturing and Retail.

New safety regulations require all cars manufactured in Embolalia to be bombproof, UFO sightings are listed daily in the morning news, companies struggle to cover for the hordes of employees on parental leave, and there's a shortage of swinging hot spots as land development grinds to a halt. Crime is well under control. Embolalia's national animal is the cute little puppy, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Fŷri.

Embolalia is ranked 73rd in International Democratic Union and 91,922nd in the world for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring -4 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
