The Kingdom of Elyricia is a massive, socially progressive nation, remarkable for its keen interest in outer space. Its hard-nosed, intelligent population of 1.243 billion enjoy a sensible mix of personal and economic freedoms, while the political process is open and the people's right to vote held sacrosanct.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is mainly concerned with Education, although the Environment and Healthcare are secondary priorities. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Elycia. The average income tax rate is 70%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Information Technology industry.

Politicians are to be found scavenging bins at night to supplement their income, strange looking men with big red noses are found hiding behind bushes and inside dustbins, the nation's infamous boot camp is more brutal than most battlefields, and new safety regulations require all cars manufactured in Elyricia to be bombproof. Crime is well under control. Elyricia's national animal is the Wolf, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Keta.
