Its hard-nosed population of 6.132 billion are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Defence, with areas such as Religion & Spirituality and Social Welfare receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Grove. The average income tax rate is 99%. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

The tenet of free speech is held dear, eminent domain has been abolished, angst-filled teenagers are rushing off to buy government bonds for some odd reason, and political parties are banned from advertising and receiving private donations. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Elessar Nenharma's national animal is the Rabbit, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Kuma Druidism, and its currency is the Zincoid.
