OverviewPeopleGovernmentEconomyTrendAnalysis

The Sulphuric Workers' Republic of Ejyafjallajokull is a massive, genial nation, ruled by the Pseudo-Glacial Conservative Party with a fair hand, and renowned for its anti-smoking policies. The compassionate, intelligent population of 4.477 billion Ejyafjallajokullians enjoy a sensible mix of personal and economic freedoms, while the political process is open and the people's right to vote held sacrosanct.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Education, with areas such as Religion & Spirituality and Defence receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. The average income tax rate is 98%. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Government-run screening operations remove embryos with severe genetic disorders, military barracks resemble five-star hotels, Ejyafjallajokull is notorious for its citizens' infidelity, and military funding has been stripped back. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Ejyafjallajokull's national animal is the Great Ejyafjallajokullian Auk, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is virtually obsolete Catholicism, and its currency is the Ejyafjallajokullian Króna.

Ejyafjallajokull is ranked 2nd in Labour and Socialist International and 2,540th in the world for Largest Public Transport Department, scoring 131 on the Societal Mobility Rating.
