The Soldier of Ecuadoro is a massive, economically powerful nation, ruled by Adrios Kratz with an iron fist, and remarkable for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 1.983 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Law & Order, although Defence and Healthcare are secondary priorities. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 57%. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Arms Manufacturing.

Universities are populated by the spawn of the upper classes, rumours have it that a secret police is responsible for the recent spate of missing persons, private business has started paving paradises and putting up parking lots, and only the rich can afford the latest medical innovations. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Ecuadoro's national animal is the Onça, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Catholic, and its currency is the Real.

Ecuadoro is ranked 1st in Patagonia and 62,772nd in the world for Most Extreme, scoring 18 on the Paul-Nader Subjective Decentrality Index.
