A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Book Publishing industry, followed by Information Technology and Uranium Mining.

The study of medicine is popular throughout Ecans, traffic jams are a common sight due to construction work from a massive overhaul of the nation's freeways, citizens simply have to point a weapon at a government official to get what they want, and the minority inevitably have their addenda vetoed. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Ecans's national animal is the Grey Wolf, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Denarii.

Ecans is ranked 151st in Canada and 101,722nd in the world for Most Authoritarian, with 0.043 Stalins.
