The Federation of Eat_aly is a massive, socially progressive nation, ruled by Full Monti with a fair hand, and renowned for its national health service. Its compassionate, hard-working, intelligent population of 1.637 billion hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Education, although Healthcare and Commerce are on the agenda. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Augusta Taurinorum. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 62%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Tourism industry, followed by Information Technology and Automobile Manufacturing.

The military frequently holds bake sales to raise funds, the government is spending millions on renovating the public transportation system, military funding has been stripped back, and citizens are allowed to rise or fall based on their own merits. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Eat_aly's national animal is the Tajarin, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Truffle.
