Space research funding has hit a recent high while several military bases are being closed down, prisoners work-share to cut down rising costs of keeping them in jail, organ donation rates are among the lowest in the region, and students are known to arrive at school in their pyjamas. Crime is totally unknown. Duffys's national animal is the owl, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is a major religion, and its currency is the pun.
