The Republic of Dream World is a massive, economically powerful nation, ruled by The Great an Powerfull OZ with an even hand, and remarkable for its sprawling nuclear power plants. Its compassionate, hard-working population of 1.199 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Education. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Yellow Brick Road. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 70%. A robust private sector is led by the Automobile Manufacturing industry, followed by Arms Manufacturing and Uranium Mining.

Euthanasia is illegal, a National Academy regulates grammar and usage, re-education centers are being added to most prisons, and colleges adhere to rigid ethnic quotas for admissions. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is a problem. Dream World's national animal is the Robin, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Dots.

Dream World is ranked 3,397th in the Pacific and 78,157th in the world for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring -2 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
