The Republic of Drakomagic is a colossal, devout nation, ruled by Rave with an even hand, and notable for its complete absence of social welfare. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 6.216 billion are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defence, and Commerce. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Drakomagic City. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing, Automobile Manufacturing, and Tourism industries.

New urban roads are threatening city parks, the streets are increasingly clogged with poverty-stricken beggars, loans are available for students from poor families, and travellers are often forcibly evicted by torch-bearing mobs. Crime is pervasive. Drakomagic's national animal is the chinchilla, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the dollar.

Drakomagic is ranked 16th in Lazarus and 290th in the world for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring 18 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
