The Political Kingdom of Dillton is a massive, economically powerful nation, ruled by Smitty Werben Jagerman Jensen with an iron fist, and renowned for its keen interest in outer space. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 1.784 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Commerce, Law & Order, and Defence. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of San Diego. The average income tax rate is 75%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing, Automobile Manufacturing, and Information Technology industries.

Government officials raid public buildings to remove all mention of G*d or r******n, thousands of former welfare recipients are in a revolutionary uproar as the rest of society is enjoying a hefty tax break, Animal Liberationists are regularly jailed, and the government has ordered a moratorium on referenda. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Dillton's national animal is the Flamingo, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Dilltheism, and its currency is the Schment.

Dillton is ranked 2,173rd in Osiris and 90,191st in the world for Most Conservative, scoring 40 on the Bush-Santorum Dawning Terror Index.
