The Democratic Republic of Dharmarajya is a massive, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by Vikramaditya Maurya with a fair hand, and renowned for its keen interest in outer space. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 2.842 billion enjoy a sensible mix of personal and economic freedoms, while the political process is open and the people's right to vote held sacrosanct.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Law & Order, and the Environment. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Dharmarajya City. The average income tax rate is 89%, and even higher for the wealthy. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Citizens are allowed to rise or fall based on their own merits, parents live in fear of governmental 'child protection' squads, large sections of Dharmarajya have been named national reserves to protect the native tribes living there, and commercial jingles have been ham-handedly forced into world renowned symphonies. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Dharmarajya's national animal is the Tiger, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Rupee.

Dharmarajya is ranked 14th in India and 11,044th in the world for Most Influential, scoring 36 on the Soft Power Disbursement Rating.
