The United Empire of Decorder is a massive, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by Rel Adler with an even hand, and remarkable for its happy-go-lucky citizens. Its compassionate population of 1.954 billion are highly moralistic and fiercely conservative, in the sense that they tend to believe most things should be outlawed. People who have good jobs and work quietly at them are lauded; others are viewed with suspicion.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Education, and Commerce. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Cydonia. The average income tax rate is 91%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Information Technology industry, followed by Book Publishing and Tourism.

The importance of winning Olympic gold medals is indoctrinated from an early age, the nation is currently revamping its entire education system, the government is pouring money into 'Operation Enduring Democracy', and houses and businesses are bulldozed to make way for ever-expanding cemeteries. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Decorder's national animal is the Snake, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Decorderism, and its currency is the Pesotta.

Decorder is ranked 2,144th in 10000 Islands and 117,343rd in the world for Largest Mining Sector, scoring -4 on the Blue Sky Asbestos Index.
