Cars speed down national highways while drivers sleep at the wheel, surveillance cameras are banned, students in DaWoad's schools rarely attend their classes, and businesses often fire workers in favour of cheaper automatic systems. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. DaWoad's national animal is the hawk, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the loon.
