Its compassionate, intelligent population of 2.52 billion are free to do what they want with their own bodies, and vote for whoever they like in elections; if they go into business, however, they are regulated to within an inch of their lives.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Education, although the Environment and Social Equality are secondary priorities. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Effin Amazing. The average income tax rate is 93%, and even higher for the wealthy. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Schools have extensive counseling programs for troubled students, citizens applying for their first jobs face fierce competition from the homeless, Das Uber Awesomazing has one of the largest offshore wind farms in the world, and Das Uber Awesomazing's children are widely acknowledged as the most foul-mouthed in the region. Crime is totally unknown. Das Uber Awesomazing's national animal is the fuzzy dragonbear, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the mudpie.
