The Citizen's Republic of Darianicus is a massive, cultured nation, ruled by Darian with an even hand, and remarkable for its museums and concert halls. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 3.509 billion enjoy extensive civil rights and enjoy a level of social equality free from the usual accompanying government corruption.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Social Equality, and the Environment. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Darianicus's national animal is the jaguar, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Shnek.

Darianicus is ranked 20th in Social Liberal Union and 2,301st in the world for Most Eco-Friendly Governments, scoring 158 on the Dolphin Recycling Awareness Index.
