Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 8.018 billion enjoy great individual freedoms in everything except elections, which, where they exist at all, are populist shams for a dictatorship government that has no intention of ever giving up power.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Law & Order, with areas such as Religion & Spirituality and Social Welfare receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Zaandam. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 30%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Uranium Mining and Gambling.

Customs turn away those considered to have an unfavourable ethnicity, long arduous trials are held for the most trivial of offences, government-run screening operations remove embryos with severe genetic disorders, and citizens may cast their vote over the internet or phone. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Dangertk's national animal is the beast, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Pessimism, and its currency is the bottle.

Dangertk is ranked 30th in Nederland and 4,832nd in the world for Largest Mining Sector, scoring 8 on the Blue Sky Asbestos Index.
