The Socialist Republic of Czechalrus is a massive, devout nation, ruled by Aleksandr Buteyko with an iron fist, and renowned for its unlimited-speed roads. Its hard-nosed, cynical population of 4.902 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Education. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Minsk. The average income tax rate is 100%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing, Beef-Based Agriculture, and Automobile Manufacturing industries.

The government has cut its subsidies for all special interest groups, the government seizes all major gold finds, cremation is compulsory for the deceased, and pharmacies close down as medicinal drugs are sold freely by the government. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Czechalrus's national animal is the Peregrin Falcon, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Eastern Orthodox, and its currency is the Ruble.

Czechalrus is ranked 2nd in the region and 1,295th in the world for Lowest Crime Rates.
