The Christian Democratic Nation of Culture of Life is a gargantuan, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by Gerard Majella with an even hand, and remarkable for its museums and concert halls, national health service, and complete lack of prisons. The compassionate, cheerful, devout population of 11.157 billion Culture-of-Lifers are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

The relatively small, socially-minded government juggles the competing demands of Education, Welfare, and Environment. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of New Jerusalem. The average income tax rate is 33.6%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The all-consuming Culture-of-Life economy, worth a remarkable 1,256 trillion vitas a year, is driven almost entirely by government activity, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector is mostly comprised of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is an impressive 112,635 vitas, and distributed extremely evenly, with practically no difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

In a baffling press conference Gerard Majella proudly dismantled a broken door, organ donation is compulsory, legislators work 24/7 due to an influx of single-issue bills, and citizens who leave the country are officially classed as traitors. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Culture of Life's national animal is the dove, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its national religion is Catholicism.

Culture of Life is ranked 2,607th in the world and 3rd in Right to Life for Lowest Crime Rates, with 120.8 Law-abiding Acts Per Hour.
