The Latin Imperium of Cukarica is a colossal, economically powerful nation, ruled by Maxumus Meridius Augustus I with an iron fist, and notable for its anti-smoking policies. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 7.768 billion are rabid consumers, partly through choice and partly because the government tells them to and dissenters tend to vanish from their homes at night.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Defence, with areas such as the Environment and Social Equality receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Neapolis. The average income tax rate is 97%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

Citizens can be frequently spotted going about their business stark naked, it is illegal to liberate slaves, students cut up leftover Imperial Credits during Arts and Crafts, and speaking out against the government is punishable by flogging. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Cukarica's national animal is the Imperial Eagle, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Christianity, and its currency is the Imperial Credit.

Cukarica is ranked 7th in Tyrrhenia and 6,268th in the world for Most Influential, scoring 51 on the Soft Power Disbursement Rating.
