The United Socialist States of Crazy Soviets is a massive, safe nation, notable for its anti-smoking policies. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 1.523 billion are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Commerce, and Healthcare. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Moscu. The average income tax rate is 78%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Book Publishing industry, followed by Automobile Manufacturing and Tourism.

All judiciary cases are decided in the court of public opinion, the new 'Things We Stole From Other Countries' exhibition at the National Museum of Antiquities is a hit, the Soviet Dog is a protected species, and people faint regularly as they get stuck with compulsory vaccinations. Crime is well under control, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Crazy Soviets's national animal is the Soviet Dog, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Zeuro.
