The Dictatorship of Cosmo Kramerica is a gargantuan, economically powerful nation, renowned for its complete lack of public education. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 20 billion are ruled with an iron fist by the corrupt, dictatorship government, which oppresses anyone who isn't on the board of a Fortune 500 company. Large corporations tend to be above the law, and use their financial clout to gain ever-increasing government benefits at the expense of the poor and unemployed.

The medium-sized, moralistic, pro-business government juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Commerce. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 12%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Uranium Mining industry, followed by Arms Manufacturing and Automobile Manufacturing.

The country has been 'going shopping' by annexing nearby nations for their resources, mining is the nation's most dangerous occupation, rumours have it that a secret police is responsible for the recent spate of missing persons, and the commercialisation of highly deadly weapons has instilled Cosmo Kramerica with a very polite populace. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is relatively low, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Cosmo Kramerica's national animal is the Peanut Man, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Kramer.
