The Anarcho-Capitalizt Republic of Corporato is a colossal, socially progressive nation, notable for its sprawling nuclear power plants. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 6.42 billion live in a state of perpetual fear, as a complete breakdown of social order has led to the rise of order through biker gangs.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, corrupt, pro-business individuals is effectively ruled by the Department of Commerce, with areas such as Social Equality and the Environment receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Alpha City. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Information Technology, Gambling, and Uranium Mining industries.

Most governmental positions are filled by zealous nationalists, voting is voluntary, convicted felons are forced into slavery for their crimes, and employers may fire workers without giving any reason. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Corporato's national animal is the dragon, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the credit.
