The Imperial Main Province of Copenhagen Metropolis is a gargantuan, economically powerful nation, ruled by The Imperial Council with an iron fist, and remarkable for its unlimited-speed roads. The hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 10.985 billion Copenhageners are rabid consumers, partly through choice and partly because the government tells them to and dissenters tend to vanish from their homes at night.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is effectively ruled by the Department of Defence, with areas such as the Environment and Religion & Spirituality receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Vega. The average income tax rate is 100%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

Billions of Kroner are being blown on orbital weapons development, police officers have been re-kitted with designer uniforms and gold plated handcuffs, Vega is a police state during international summits, and police officers have nearly cracked a major underage astronomy syndicate. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Copenhagen Metropolis's national animal is the Elephant, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Krone.

Copenhagen Metropolis is ranked 143rd in Nordic Lands and 117,329th in the world for Least Corrupt Governments, scoring -602 on the Inverse Mugabe Relativity Rating.
