The Imperial Main Province of Copenhagen Metropolis is a colossal, economically powerful nation, ruled by The Imperial Council with an iron fist, and remarkable for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 7.719 billion are ruled with an iron fist by the corrupt, dictatorship government, which oppresses anyone who isn't on the board of a Fortune 500 company. Large corporations tend to be above the law, and use their financial clout to gain ever-increasing government benefits at the expense of the poor and unemployed.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is effectively ruled by the Department of Defence, with areas such as the Environment and Religion & Spirituality receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Vega. The average income tax rate is 98%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

Citizens are forbidden from leaving the country, all major public areas are watched by police surveillance cameras, environmental protestors are being rounded up and taken away in sinister black vans as a massive land development campaign gets underway, and newborns are being raised as mindless killing machines. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Copenhagen Metropolis's national animal is the Elephant, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Krone.

Copenhagen Metropolis is ranked 1st in Nordic Lands and 340th in the world for Most Influential, scoring 262 on the Soft Power Disbursement Rating.
