Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 12.559 billion hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded individuals devotes most of its attentions to Defence, with areas such as Social Equality and the Environment receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Preppington. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Beef-Based Agriculture, Information Technology, and Arms Manufacturing industries.

Thousands of former welfare recipients are in a revolutionary uproar as the rest of society is enjoying a hefty tax break, airport security is provided by private companies, the government is pouring money into 'Operation Enduring Democracy', and almost all of Collar Poppin Souljahs's water is piped into the country from abroad for exorbitant prices. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling. Collar Poppin Souljahs's national animal is the Polo, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Collar.
