The United Republic of Cocsoah is a massive, devout nation, ruled by Prime Minister Nathan Clarke with a fair hand, and renowned for its anti-smoking policies. The hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 4.542 billion Cocsoahians enjoy a sensible mix of personal and economic freedoms, while the political process is open and the people's right to vote held sacrosanct.

The medium-sized government juggles the competing demands of Defence, Education, and Healthcare. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Seaford. The average income tax rate is 12%, but much higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

Most people suffer from some form of hearing loss, the country's famous rainforests are being bulldozed by the mining industry, the government seizes all major gold finds, and the government has cut taxes in the face of widespread tax evasion. Crime is relatively low, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Cocsoah's national animal is the Cocsoan Black-Bear, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Christianity, and its currency is the Wookiah.

Cocsoah is ranked 27th in Texas and 14,183rd in the world for Most Average, scoring 1,242 on the Average Standarized Normality Scale.
