The Eternally Chaotic Imperium of Chronosia is a gargantuan, socially progressive nation, ruled by Remiel De Drakan with an even hand, and remarkable for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 20.076 billion are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is effectively ruled by the Department of Defence, with areas such as the Environment and Religion & Spirituality receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Chronosia Prime. The average income tax rate is 96%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Uranium Mining industry, followed by Information Technology and Gambling.

The public transport system has been eliminated, calling out of the blue has become taboo, frequent fliers are obliged to submit to invasive security procedures by government security, and the state has declared war on the environment and environmentalists by association. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Chronosia's national animal is the Bloodthirster, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Chaos worship, and its currency is the Imperial Dollar.

Chronosia is ranked 4th in The Dark Lands and 4,984th in the world for Most Influential, scoring 59 on the Soft Power Disbursement Rating.
