The Commonwealth of ChevyRocks is a gargantuan, socially progressive nation, ruled by Haraldur VI Tryggvasson with a fair hand, and renowned for its anti-smoking policies. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 14.056 billion live in a state of perpetual fear, as a complete breakdown of social order has led to the rise of order through biker gangs.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, liberal, pro-business individuals juggles the competing demands of Education, Healthcare, and Law & Order. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Fríborg. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Information Technology industry, followed by Book Publishing and Uranium Mining.

Violently opinionated speakers can be heard preaching their hateful views on every street corner, X-Files ratings have hit an all-time low, electrocution deaths among computer technicians are at an all-time high, and seafood restaurants assure customers 'If it lives in the sea, it's on our menu'. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling. ChevyRocks's national animal is the timber wolf, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the krona.
