The Kingdom of Cherokee Memphis is a massive, cultured nation, ruled by King Indra III with a fair hand, and remarkable for its museums and concert halls. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 1.516 billion are free to do what they want with their own bodies, and vote for whoever they like in elections; if they go into business, however, they are regulated to within an inch of their lives.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, the Environment, and Social Welfare. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Elohi. The average income tax rate is 92%, and even higher for the wealthy. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Parents live in fear of governmental 'child protection' squads, surveillance cameras are banned, anti-government political posters adorn every building like wallpaper, and tourists from around the world come to visit the country's famous rainforests. Crime is totally unknown. Cherokee Memphis's national animal is the coyote, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Memphian dollar.

Cherokee Memphis is ranked 2nd in The Puget Sound and 5,466th in the world for Most Income Equality, scoring 186 on the Marx-Engels Emancipation Scale.
