It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Law & Order, and Defence. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Cerasia City. The average income tax rate is 93%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Tourism industry.

The nation has welcomed its expats back with open arms, there's a shortage of swinging hot spots as land development grinds to a halt, thousands of former welfare recipients are in a revolutionary uproar as the rest of society is enjoying a hefty tax break, and citizens wishing to leave the country must surrender half their wealth to the government. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Cerasia's national animal is the bear, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is Eternal Cerasius, and its currency is the cerasian pound.

Cerasia is ranked 4,364th in The North Pacific and 94,862nd in the world for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring -5 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
