The Kingdom of Celtabria is a massive, safe nation, ruled by Lieutenant governor Albion with an iron fist, and remarkable for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 2.51 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

The enormous government concentrates mainly on Defence, although Law & Order and Commerce are on the agenda. The average income tax rate is 25%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Woodchip Exports, Soda Sales, and Pizza Delivery industries.

The Celtabria Mental Asylum Party have recently won seats in parliament, a National Academy regulates grammar and usage, cities are engulfed by smog, and major cities are suffering under water rationing. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Celtabria's national animal is the Celtabrian horse, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Stoico-buddhism, and its currency is the Celtabrian Pound.
