Its hard-nosed, cynical population of 891 million are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Healthcare. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of DewFord City. The average income tax rate is 100%. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising fourteen-year-old boys selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Newborns are being raised as mindless killing machines, libraries are bulldozed to make way for internet cafés, major cities shut down as their local sports team takes to the field every day, and the sound of wooden legs echo throughout Camary after the recent introduction of the Foot Tax. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Camary's national animal is the lion, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Legal Tender of Gold.
