The Republic of Cadfusion is a massive, safe nation, ruled by Alex Trebek with a fair hand, and notable for its museums and concert halls. Its hard-nosed, intelligent population of 2.515 billion hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, liberal government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is mainly concerned with Education, although Commerce and Healthcare are on the agenda. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Hysteria. The average income tax rate is 44%, but much higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Information Technology industry, followed by Tourism and Book Publishing.

Calling out of the blue has become taboo, police officers have been re-kitted with designer uniforms and gold plated handcuffs, young children are regularly seen wagering pocket money at blackjack tables, and an increasing percentage of the population's youth have homosexual parents. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Cadfusion's national animal is the Mike Tyson, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Nudism, and its currency is the Looney.

Cadfusion is ranked 4,477th in the South Pacific and 93,108th in the world for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring -5 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
