Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Uranium Mining.

Shaken martini sales have soared in nations surrounding Byiaristan, bloodthirsty zealots regularly participate in the Friday Night Stoning of Adulterers, airship use has soared while property values beneath their routes have plummeted, and the country's famous rainforests are being bulldozed by the mining industry. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Byiaristan's national animal is the Wolf, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Tyar.
