The United Kingdom of Brutland and Norden is a gargantuan, safe nation, ruled by King Kyle II with an even hand, and notable for its hatred of cheese. Its compassionate, hard-working, intelligent population of 14.066 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Social Welfare, Education, and Defence. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Kingsville. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 72%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Information Technology industry.

Visitors to the famed rainforests are instead taken to vast furniture factories, legislators work 24/7 due to an influx of single-issue bills, the nation is reliant on the principle of mutually assured destruction to maintain its security, and drunk drivers are sent to rehabilitation paid for by the government. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Brutland and Norden's national animal is the Brute cow, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the livro.

Brutland and Norden is ranked 3,422nd in the South Pacific and 101,887th in the world for Most Income Equality, scoring 68 on the Marx-Engels Emancipation Scale.
