The Republic of Braxil is a colossal, safe nation, ruled by President Peppi Ricchetti with an even hand, and renowned for its anti-smoking policies. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 7.037 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Education, and Law & Order. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Braxil City. The average income tax rate is 78%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Uranium Mining, Book Publishing, and Arms Manufacturing industries.

Chess hooliganism is on the rise after the banning of organised sports, the government extracts trade concessions from poor nations in exchange for humanitarian aid, the government is pouring money into 'Operation Enduring Democracy', and guns are banned. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Braxil's national animal is the Lion, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the SN.

Braxil is ranked 215th in Europe and 7,593rd in the world for Most Influential, scoring 48 on the Soft Power Disbursement Rating.
