The Most Serene Corporation of Bram the Bored is a gargantuan, economically powerful nation, ruled by CEO Bram T Bored with an iron fist, and remarkable for its complete absence of social welfare. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 19.415 billion are rabid consumers, partly through choice and partly because the government tells them to and dissenters tend to vanish from their homes at night.

The minute, pro-business government, or what there is of one, is effectively ruled by the Department of Commerce, with areas such as Social Equality and Religion & Spirituality receiving almost no funds by comparison. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 4%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Automobile Manufacturing, Beef-Based Agriculture, and Arms Manufacturing industries.

An increasing percentage of the population's youth have homosexual parents, urban high-volume mailers now receive their mail via chauffer-driven limousines, several citizens have complained about scientists abducting their pets for experimentation, and the government has repealed elections for fear of 'mob rule'. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is a serious problem. Bram the Bored's national animal is the Wild Boar, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Boredom.
