OverviewPeopleGovernmentEconomyTrendAnalysis

The Confederation of Bosiu is a colossal, cultured nation, ruled by Naomi Cabrera with an even hand, and remarkable for its punitive income tax rates. The hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 8.221 billion Bosiuans are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defence, and Education. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Sakuru. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 75%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Information Technology industry.

Voting is voluntary, roads are often attended by round-the-clock construction crews, politicians are often found scavenging bins at night to supplement their income, and anyone who so much as frowns is referred to a mental health unit. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Bosiu's national animal is the Coal Scale Wyvern, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Illick.

Bosiu is ranked 99th in Texas and 65,513th in the world for Most Rebellious Youth, scoring -1 on the Stark-Dean Displacement Index.
