OverviewPeopleGovernmentEconomyTrendAnalysis

The Confederation of Bosiu is a colossal, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by Naomi Cabrera with an even hand, and renowned for its museums and concert halls. The hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 8.388 billion Bosiuans have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Education. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Sakuru. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 77%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Information Technology industry.

The state is footing the bill for billionaires' lawyers, third party candidates are now gaining some representation in Parliament, fancy dress parties are raided by military police for new recruits, and the upper class have been throwing riots after hunting was recently banned. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Bosiu's national animal is the Coal Scale Wyvern, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Illick.

Bosiu is ranked 125th in Texas and 94,533rd in the world for Most Authoritarian, with 0.043 Stalins.
