The Republic of Boomz is a massive, economically powerful nation, ruled by Lady Zaza with an even hand, and remarkable for its sprawling nuclear power plants. Its hard-nosed population of 2.424 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Law & Order, although Defence and Healthcare are secondary priorities. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Tampines Town. The average income tax rate is 75%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Woodchip Exports and Uranium Mining.

High-income earners pay a 100% tax rate, all streets are privately owned toll roads, people reciting Shakespeare have become a common sight, and pharmacies close down as medicinal drugs are sold freely by the government. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Boomz's national animal is the Merlion, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Agnostican, and its currency is the Dollar.

Boomz is ranked 63rd in the Pacific and 2,760th in the world for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring 8 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
