The Matriarchy of Boadiccea is a colossal, cultured nation, ruled by Queen Booie with a fair hand, and renowned for its museums and concert halls, national health service, and complete lack of prisons. The compassionate, democratic, humorless population of 8.12 billion Boadicceans love a good election, and the government gives them plenty of them. Universities tend to be full of students debating the merits of various civil and political rights, while businesses are tightly regulated and the wealthy viewed with suspicion.

The government — a sprawling, bureaucracy-choked, outspoken morass — juggles the competing demands of Education, Environment, and Healthcare. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Hog Mountain. The average income tax rate is 85.5%.

The large but sluggish Boadiccean economy, worth 214 trillion Tacituses a year, is extremely specialized and solely comprised of the Book Publishing industry. State-owned companies are reasonably common. Average income is 26,356 Tacituses, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 3.0 times as much as the poorest.

Genetic researchers have been expelled, it is mandatory for men to stay home to fix funny noises in the attic, the new hit series "Boadiccea's Got Trauma" has corporate executives fleeing the country, and territories have the right to secede if they aren't happy. Crime is totally unknown. Boadiccea's national animal is the Llama, which is also the nation's favorite main course.

Boadiccea is ranked 458th in The North Pacific and 14,766th in the world for Largest Public Transport Department, scoring 45 on the Societal Mobility Rating.
