Children have taken to using semaphore in light of the recent mobile phone ban, jails have become colloquially known as 'vampire houses', rumours have it that a secret police is responsible for the recent spate of missing persons, and the welfare administration’s new sweeping authority has forced the poor and needy to shop from pre-approved grocery lists. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Blitzkeig's national animal is the Blitzkeigan Dragon, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Blitzkeigan Dinar.
