It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Education, and Defence. A large percentage of the poor live from cradle to grave in subterranean wage slavery, the nation is reliant on the principle of mutually assured destruction to maintain its security, Blacaria Barrier Island residents anxiously await their 'Bridge to Somewhere', and lending firms are subject to strict government regulations. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Blacaria's national animal is the Black Wolf, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is No Official Religion, and its currency is the Caprec.

Blacaria is ranked 77th in Caprecia and 114,646th in the world for Most Pacifist, scoring -428 on the Lennon-Springsteen Scale.
