Overview • PeopleGovernmentEconomyTrendAnalysis

The Anarchistic Botdom of BenderBot is a colossal, socially progressive nation, remarkable for its keen interest in outer space. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 6.795 billion live in a state of perpetual fear, as a complete breakdown of social order has led to the rise of order through biker gangs.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Education, with areas such as Law & Order and Religion & Spirituality receiving almost no funds by comparison. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 35%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Book Publishing, Tourism, and Gambling industries.

Suit-clad businessmen have been taking advantage of the relaxed welfare qualifications by shopping with food stamps, students in BenderBot's schools rarely attend their classes, almost half of the child population live rough on the streets, and the lowest age at which one can marry has been recently lowered to 12. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. BenderBot's national animal is the steel bar, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the alcohol.

BenderBot is ranked 15th in Ulthar and 2,568th in the world for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring 8 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
