Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Belderrig's national animal is the Red Deer, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is Roman Catholicism , and its currency is the Euro.

Belderrig is ranked 13th in European Union and 6,136th in the world for Largest Public Sector, scoring 25 on the Bureaucratic Comprehensiveness Rating Scale Index.
