The Democratic people's republic of Bakilior is a massive, genial nation, ruled by Grand Duke Lieapode Vonlictenstein with an even hand, and renowned for its hatred of cheese. Its compassionate population of 2.148 billion are prohibited from doing almost everything except voting, which they do timidly and conservatively.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defence, and Education. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Chechnia. The average income tax rate is 97%. A tiny private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

Motorists' locations are constantly tracked by intelligence and law enforcement agencies, families consisting of more than three people are forced to split up, the colors pink and purple are banned from military unit insignia, and citizens receive notices of disenfranchisement along with their parking tickets. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Bakilior's national animal is the wild dog, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the the state dollar.

Bakilior is ranked 473rd in Europeia and 68,140th in the world for Most Extreme, scoring 17 on the Paul-Nader Subjective Decentrality Index.
