OverviewFactbookPeopleGovernmentEconomyTrendAnalysis

The Democratic Republic of Baiynistan is a huge, economically powerful nation, ruled by the Chair of the People's Council with a fair hand, and renowned for its restrictive gun laws. The compassionate, hard-working, intelligent population of 685 million, all of whom are zombies, Baiyns hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Education, although Social Equality and Healthcare are secondary priorities. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Hitchensgrad. The average income tax rate is 75%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Gambling industry, followed by Book Publishing and Cheese Exports.

The government has declined to declare any particular religion as its 'official' one, anti-government political posters adorn every building like wallpaper, international tensions are high as Baiynistan threatens any government with the audacity to arrest its citizens, and the tenet of free speech is held dear. Crime is totally unknown. Baiynistan's national animal is the Wolf, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Mekh.

Baiynistan is ranked 1st in Thug Left and 99,049th in the world for Largest Manufacturing Sector, scoring -6 on the Gooback-Jerbs Productivity Index.

Baiynistan is currently considering its options.
